ParkApp
Overview
Using ParkApp, you can find your way around
huge amusement parks.
But it does more than that. It can help you plan
your best visit by giving you recommendations.
The app can be adapted for each park.

solve their most painful problems, meet their needs,
and allow them to enjoy the visit.

Role
In this self-project, I was the product designer.
Problem
Amusement parks are massive, and people have to walk a lot
to get to the facilities they want.
When they arrive they see that there is a huge queue.
A whole day of visiting the park would not be enough as they waste a lot of time.

Solution
From start to finish, visitors will be able to use the app
and get real-time information about the facilities closest to them,
the queues, restaurants, rest areas, and more.
Visitors can make the most of their visit this way, and won't waste time.
Additionally, the app offers recommendations based on
the questionnaire visitors fill out at the beginning of the day.

Challenges
1. Users are usually parents with children,
and their attention is limited while visiting the park.

2. To receive customized recommendations,
visitors must fill out questionnaires, which may cause users to abandon the app.

3. A b2c app's interface should hold the user's attention and provide value immediately,
But in this case, Value can only be appreciated at the end of the day.

Research
As part of the research, I interviewed people who
frequently visit amusement parks in Israel and the United States.
I found that the thing that annoyed them most was the long lines at the facilities.

They told me they walked a lot to the facility that the kids really wanted
to use, but when they arrived, there was a huge line.
A full day can sometimes be spent touring only a few facilities.
Other things that bothered them during the interviews were not knowing the distance and where the restaurants were.
